Kade's Trip to Nascar

Kade really enjoyed his trip to the Nascar haulers and to see his favorite driver's Kyle Busch. He got a sweet new shirt and a race car. Overall, it was a pretty fun experience! Kade couldn't believe that his blimp was bigger than the real one...crazy huh?

Halloween-Scary!!

Kade had been waiting for this day for months. We bought his Halloween costume months ago and he had been waiting patiently to put it on and go trick-or-treating. He was 1 of about 20 Batman's at Day Care. I'm just glad he wasn't the one picking his nose in the pictures =). Here are some of Kade's Halloween pics!!

King Pin

Well, i'm back to bowling again! I think it has been about 5 yrs since i've gone bowling on a consistent basis. I think i'm gonna put Ernie McCracken (Big Ern) as my nickname this week for old-time sake. It has been fun though! One of my friends/co-worker thought a few months back that it would be fun to go bowling since we both had our own equipment. We finally did it and it has been a blast. I've been sporting the Aligator skin bowling shoes...Burgandy & Gold YEAH!!!! They are about a size to small, so it is kind of uncomfortable. However, my wife being so sweet, encouraged me to by some new shoes on EBay. Boy and I glad I have a wife like her around. I almost paid $120 for my shoes, but she found them on E-Bay brand new for $65. (Pics to come) Well, I should be going now. I'll let ya'll know what my average is when it is respectable...LOL

Kooper's Marker

Kooper's marker was set the other day so we took a drive to the cemetary to check it out. We felt the spirit so much and it was a relief to finally see the marker finished. The monkey image wasn't an option in the design book, but my cousin Leigh found this one for us, so it is unique among the rest. Thank you Leigh!

Until we meet again Kooper, you will always be in our thoughts. =)

New Clothes

Kade got some new clothes for the fall months. He's growing like a weed, so new clothes it is. Not sure how Kade feels, but I love getting new clothes. I feel like I can do everything so much better when I have on new clothes! Kind of like how I run so much faster with new shoes. My mom never fell for that one.

Grandma's Visit

Breea-ther

Well, I figured I better get an update in before I get to busy again. Kami's job is going well. She really seems to be enjoying it, despite the vampire like schedule. Regretfully, we don't get to see much of each other until Saturday night thru Tuesday afternoon. Kade and I definately miss mommy's fun loving spirit around the house and her occassional kicks in the butt to keep us boys in line. Anyhow, we sure do miss her. My mom is in town this week visiting. It is nice to see my mom. We haven't had a lot of opportunity to hang out since I moved to AZ. Grandma and Kade will get to spend some quality time with each other tomorrow and Thursday afternoon while I go make the bacon and Kami gets some much needed rest. Nanna wants to take Kade roller-skating...I know, I know. I told her that roller-skating was so 1980's too, but she insists on going. She even brought her own skates. Well, I guess I could catch a few jokes for having some Alligator skin bowling shoes that I paid $250 for. I'm sure they'll have a lot of fun. Wow, this is becoming a novel. Hope you enjoy the post.

New Beginnings

Kami found out that she got a new job yesterday. She will be begin working at a Sleep Study Lab in a few weeks. Regretfully, it will be evening hours, but I guess it will allow for me and Kade for some father son time. I am so proud for her and I can't wait to see her spread her wings and grow even more professionally. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful wife. I love you sweetie.

I hope you all like my new music. I heard this guy (Michael Buble) on the radio this morning and it inspired me to add it to my blog.
